Innocent Mukooli is a Software Engineering graduate from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (BSc), specialising in technology with a focus on data science and artificial intelligence. His academic training includes software development, client-server programming, and machine learning, complemented by active participation in AI datathons and symposiums on health diagnostics and AI bias mitigation. He consistently sharpens his data science skills through ongoing Kaggle competitions, demonstrating a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments.

Currently, Innocent contributes as a Junior Software Engineer at Sybyl Uganda in the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Department, where he applies analytical rigor to improve software quality and business processes. He brings proven experience from previous roles in business process re-engineering at RedRam Labs, where he optimised operational processes for government agencies to enhance efficiency and service delivery, and a cybersecurity solutions internship at Mantra Technologies Uganda, where he supported the development and implementation of secure technology solutions. His internships in IT support have further strengthened his technical versatility and understanding of secure, scalable systems.

Innocent led the Rotaract Club of MUST as President, after serving as Secretary, where he successfully coordinated impactful community projects focused on health, education, and social development. As Campus Director of the Millennium Campus Network Fellowship, he provided strategic guidance to student-led initiatives with global reach. Through his work, Innocent consistently demonstrates a confident, solution-oriented approach to leveraging AI and data-driven technology to address regional challenges and drive progress in East Africa.
