Michael Mukiama

Communications Associate

Michael Mukiama is a versatile marketing professional pursuing Marketing at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business (BCom). His academic training equips him with strong foundations in digital strategy, market research and brand  management, areas that intersect with business development and communications across  East Africa. 

Professionally, Michael has served as Marketing Coordinator at John Molson Career  Management Services, where he led promotional campaigns for career fairs and recruitment  events while managing the centre’s weekly newsletter. He previously worked as an Assistant  Video Editor at Goalcast, contributing to the production of multimedia content for diverse  audiences. Through these roles, he has gained hands-on expertise in event marketing, content  design and digital engagement. 

Outside the classroom, Michael has held leadership roles in student associations, including  Black Student Career Development (BSCD) and the John Molson HR and Management  Association (JHMA). He designed creative campaigns that grew sponsorships, expanded digital  reach, and boosted event turnout significantly. With Kenyan roots, Michael is deeply committed to storytelling, strategic branding, and supporting the growth of East African business ecosystems.
