Faith Muiruri is a software engineer and graduate of Informatics and Computer Science (BSc) from Strathmore University. Her studies focused on full-stack development, data systems, and artificial intelligence, which sparked her interest in how technology can be used to solve everyday challenges. Her background ties closely to work in digital development and innovation across the region.

She has worked as a Web Developer at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), where she helps design and maintain websites and digital platforms that support global communication efforts. Before that, she worked at Linguistics Lab Africa, building a platform that helps students prepare for coding interviews, and at LeaPlug Company, where she was part of a team that digitised employee clearance processes to make them faster and more accurate.

Outside of work, Faith is passionate about using tech for social impact. She was a semi-finalist in the 2023 Microsoft Imagine Cup under the Earth category and previously volunteered at CareTech Rehabilitation Centre, where she also spent time listening and connecting with patients. Her journey is shaped by curiosity, community, and a strong belief in building tools that make people’s lives easier.
