Ciku Kanyi is an ambitious student studying Accounting and Finance at Strathmore University (BCom), progressing toward Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification. Her academic focus on financial risk analysis, compliance, and investment appraisal aligns with JEPA Africa’s mission to strengthen financial systems and de-risk investment in East Africa.

Ciku honed her research and advisory skills as a Nawiri Fellow at Boston Consulting Group in Nairobi, where she conducted market analysis, synthesised data, and developed actionable strategies for clients. This experience built her capacity in financial modelling, product–market analysis, and strategic advisory directly relevant to JEPA’s work.

Ciku’s drive extends beyond the classroom and boardroom. She has led community initiatives that support underserved groups, promote financial inclusion, and design sustainable solutions. Her blend of technical expertise, consulting exposure, and social impact commitment positions her to contribute meaningfully to JEPA’s research, advisory, and capital projects.
