Victor Lusiba
Associate, Finance Desk
Victor Lusiba is a corporate finance associate at BDO East Africa. He is an Applied Accounting finalist at Oxford Brookes University (ACCA). He also holds a certification in Financial Modelling and Valuation from Wall Street Prep and is pursuing a Project Finance Modelling certification from Pivotal180. His academic and professional focus lies at the intersection of finance, energy, infrastructure, project finance, and private capital in emerging markets.
Victor’s experience spans transaction advisory, valuations, capital raising, and financial modelling for SMEs and institutional clients, supporting investment and capital structuring. His interests include private equity and venture capital, with a focus on funding scalable solutions to Africa’s structural gaps. He is passionate about shaping capital strategies for high-growth sectors where commercial finance meets development needs and has applied investor-grade rigour in early-stage, undercapitalised environments to unlock value.
Victor has a background in internal and external audit, which underpins his strong foundation in financial analysis and controls, skills now applied in live deal environments. Raised in East Africa, one of the most infrastructurally poor and energy-inefficient regions globally, he is working on a city transformation project aimed at repositioning Kampala as the “Beijing of Africa.”
Off the desk, Victor plays competitive football, follows rugby and basketball, and supports the Golden State Warriors.
